Clovis Community College Campus Field Guide Project

Spring 2026Clovis Community College has a yearly research symposium where students will work with advisors to develop a project to present to fellow students, staff, and various visitors at the end of the spring semester. This year, I worked on beginning to actively develop an accessible online field guide that would educate the student body on common vertebrates that they might encounter on campus through illustration. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to share my work, and will absolutely be continuing to actively update the categories included on it so that others may continue to benefit from it!

Clovis Community College Conservation Club Merchandise

Spring 2026As I became more active in the CCC Conservation Club, I was asked to produce several designs that would then be made into stickers for sale at various club events. I prioritized developing a style that would be appealing, educational, and easily readable as their respective species. I communicated with other students in order to gather information about what animals they were interested in seeing in order to appeal to demand, and worked diligently to complete 4 unique designs before set deadlines. It was fun to see others so excited over the work that I created!

Field Biology - Field Journal

Spring 2026During my Field Biology class, I worked to maintain a field journal that would assist me in my familiarity with various species I was required to learn. The art included within it was less formal and far less manicured as it was done in a fast-paced environment and mostly for my own benefit in cementing identification skills. While some pieces included are far more detailed than others, I can confidently say that my dedication in working on this throughout the semester absolutely paid off for my final!
